Train Information: Take 9:07AM train from NY Penn Station.
Purchase one-way ticket to Bay Head, or Round Trip ticket NY Penn to Bay Head, returning Long Branch to NY Penn Station

Driving Information: Meet Long Branch train station at 10:15am.
Address: 3rd Ave., between North Bath Ave. and Morris Ave., Long Branch

From pts. North (Ex. Bergen County, approx. 1.5 hour drive, including traffic) Train leaves Long Branch at 10:46am, arrive Bay Head, 11:33am. You can take the train from North Jersey but you NEED to be on the North Jersey Coast Line (Change in Secaucus or Newark for N. Jersey Coast Line)

Skate Miles: approx. 23, moderate speed, plenty of breaks, no hills
MUST BE COMFORTABLE SKATING/BIKING IN TRAFFIC

Lunch: Max's Famous Hot Dogs Restaurant, Long Branch NJ.
Yes we are veggie friendly and have beer & liquor.
Approximate Cost for Lunch: $10 - 20 per person

After lunch, beach, surf and sun: Max's is one block from the ocean. Trains back to NYC leave 6 minutes after every hour on the hour from Long Branch.

What you'll need: Suntan lotion, water, helmets are REQUIRED, wrist, knee, elbow pads are recommended. Bring towel, extra socks/clothing/bathing suit should you need.

OVERNIGHT OPTION: If you are interested in staying overnight and experiencing the NJ shore to it�fs fullest, please let me know and I can inquire about hotels. There are moderate priced hotels in the Long Branch area and there is a lot of moderately (cheaper than NYC) entertainment in the local region. I would suggest you make your plans as early as possible because this is high season and a Sat. night, many hotels fill up quickly.

NOTE: There will be no SAG WAGON. Please pack accordingly.
