BAR is an exciting weekend of group skates, workshops and clinics, and adventures exploring and experiencing New York City on skates.

Empire's regular weeknight group skate is the Tuesday Night Skate. TNS meets year-round, weather permitting.
Meet-up for skaters is 8:00 p.m. on the north side of Grand Army Plaza, Fifth Ave & 60th Street, Manhattan. (This is also the southeast corner entrance to Central Park.) We roll out at 8:15.
TNS is proud to be NYC's longest running group skate. Come on out and join the tradition!
Empire organizes a group skate most weekends (and sometimes twice a weekend) during the warm-weather months. Pace and distance vary according to the group leader. Most tours are fairly casual skates of about 12-20 miles, but some are longer and more intense. If conditions are good, we may also organize an occasional weekend skate during winter.
To find out what group skates are scheduled for upcoming weekends, and when and where they will meet, please see the Empire Calendar. Last-minute announcements and updates about weekend skates are most likelt to be posted on Empire Skate Club page on Facebook.
Join Empire Speed on Monday evenings from April through September. Empire's racers meet at 7:00 p.m. at Central Park's “Speedskaters Curb” — on the West Drive at West 68th St, just across the road and up the hill from Tavern on the Green. Inline speedskaters may meet other weekday evenings or on weekend mornings, so be sure to ask other skaters about alternative training times.
